ActivIdentity 4TRESS Soft Token for 4TRESS AS app for iPhone and iPad

The ActivIdentity 4TRESS Soft Token product family allows organizations to provide convenient and secure one-time password authenticators to users, for a broad range of devices they already carry with them. The 4TRESS Soft Token eliminates the need for iPhone users to carry a dedicated device for authentication to online applications and networks. The increase in worker mobility and consumer demand for anytime, anywhere access is driving the demand for open standards and software authenticators. As an open and versatile authentication solution, the 4TRESS Soft Token supports the OATH (Initiative for Open Authentication) standard to generate one-time passwords.

The 4TRESS Soft Token supports a simple and secure activation process that allows administrators to quickly deploy soft tokens across their organization.

Prerequisites:

ActivIdentity 4TRESS Soft Token for 4TRESS AS requires the purchase of the ActivIdentity 4TRESS Authentication Server 7.0.2 and up (http://www.actividentity.com/products/strongauthentication/4TRESSAuthenticationServer), or 4TRESS Authentication Appliance (FT2010 or FT2011). In addition, customers are required to purchase licenses for ActivIdentity 4TRESS Soft Token.

ActivIdentity 4TRESS Soft Token for 4TRESS AS can only be activated by ActivIdentity 4TRESS Authentication Server. ActivIdentity provides this iPhone application for installation convenience. Users should contact their on-line banking, on-line Application Service Provider or IT administrator for further instructions on activation and use.
